Membership to Competition Teams are by Audition only.
Students must have mastered certain skills in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz There is also a weekly competition class, in which dancers are permitted only one absence per quarter.
Being a member of Dance Intensity requires a significant amount of time, dedication, and--often--finances. Dance Intensity monthly fees are $25, and are not included in quarterly Leslie School of Dance tuition. Dancers are required to pay for costumes, shoes, make-up, entry fees, workshop fees, hotel fees, and travel expenses. Dancers performing solos, duos, or trios incur additional choreography fees. Late fees are assessed on missed payments. Attendance at all competition dates is mandatory.
